Love Everlasting

I have a certain fondness for romance and am quite often called a romantic but I was reminded that no gesture is bigger than simply being with the one you love.
I really enjoyed creating this image and am thinking of making more like it.

Its Cold Outside

I hope you all like this image. All I have been able to think about lately is how cold it is outside and how lucky I am to be at home in the warm. This image popped into my mind when I looked outside in the morning and saw the local kids walking to school, most were trying to look cool with there coats open but there was one who was wrapped up nice and warm.

A card for an 11 year old

I was quite happy with how this image turned out and will be trying out more like it. I would also like to thank my Sister in Law, after making this image into a card she posted it online and the good response we got gave me the confidence to post more of my images.

Hometime

I was thinking about my childhood when I came up with this idea. I remember that by the end of the school week I was always in trouble for loosing some part of my uniform. I decided to draw a scruffy kid who had lost his shoes but the scene in my head looked to sad and so I drew one instead that everyone could relate to, the kid who looks like he has been in world war3 by the time he comes home from school.

The softest of toys

When I was asked if I could make more nice characters and not simply funny or comic versions I found that i had no idea what to draw. I worked on a few ideas and can honestly say that I have never spent as much time thinking about how to do one image.
I really enjoyed creating this image however and am considering making more like it.

His favorite hiding place

I was watching a series on the television that asked "why with all of our technology cant we proove the lochness monster doesnt exist?" It was then that i came up with the idea of nessey hidden in plain sight.

My first few attempts had him much larger and surrounded by tourists and scientists all looking in the wrong direction but in the end I decided that it was a very cluttered drawing and so I decided to draw it as you see now.

The Panda that started it all

When my Sister in Law first asked me to make her a Panda for her blog, Pandas Paper Playtime I had no idea that making my little images with a purpose could be so much fun.

The image below was the first image that I created for her and she told me when she first saw it that it was the one she would be using. Though really happy that she liked my image I was a little dissapointed as I had so many bright ideas of things that my little panda could be doing.

After my SiL asked me draw her a second image, this time of a young boy on a bike (I will be posting that image a little later.) I found that I was enjoying drawing again and from there I decided to create the images that I will be posting here.
